My occupation used to be a Novelist (See later!)I have finished writing a novel, entitled "Inspecteur Dupont; - Mission Calamity." This is my fist novel and I am in the process publishing it with Janus Publishers. It will be in the shops in August 2000 under my name! Inspecteur Dupont; Mission Calamity is a story of a megalomaniac Nazi who tries to take over world domination through control of our satellites. He holds the world at ransom for a sum of US$ 10Bn. The US, French and German governments are helpless to stop him. Concurrently, in the French Alps, in a small town called Megeve, there is a short, fat, bald, alcoholic police man, whose remit is to hand out parking tickets. Completely against his better judgement, and certainly against his wishes of remaining in the cafe with his vin chaud, he stumbles along and eventually, in a funny and tense manner, solves the case. His character is offset by his boss the Commissaire, who constantly shouts abuse at him, his good friend, Renald who is practically flawless in persona, the incredibly beautiful Signorina Ilaria de Medici, and a new colleague, Dr. Sandrine Vaz.

I used to work as a freelance computer consultant, specialising in end user applications, and Web design. My clients included two embassies, and a number of international companies. I offered total solutions in terms of a consultancy bid for companies, and also instruction in computer usage. I charged a flat rate of DKr. 150 per hour for the instruction.

I have just started working as a eStrategy Consultant for a Danish company. We specialise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM,) e|marketing and strategic e|business solutions for our clients. Market focus and positioning are inherently crucial focal points for the way that we conduct our business.

My last job was working as a Strategic Management Consultant, for a small multi-national consultancy firm. We specialised in Cultural Change Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Strategic Systems Implementation. We are based in Dudley, England, but traveled to work as and where we were needed. I thus spent a lot of time travelling all over England for work and to Denmark (where I live) and back again, with the odd excursion to Ireland and France. Recent experience includes the Conceptualisation, Instigation and Implementation of a Management Control System in the Maintenance Department of a Client. Customer Retention Management (CRM) and e-commerce are further areas where I have had the opportunity to work, and finding these areas highly interesting would like to focus more attention on them.

On a more personal note I am tri-lingual, and love travelling, visiting new and exotic places, and not least meeting interesting people of differing cultural backgrounds. I have one fundamental philosophy in life; that life is made up of a series of experiences which should be lived; - must be lived. Life is to be treasured and savoured, each experience enjoyed for its unique and special moments. One must not be afraid to leap out into experiences, because by doing so one truely lives! By living life for the moment, without being overly fixated on the future, one can live life to the full. Carpe Diem!
